Ten Westerville City Schools employees were honored for their contributions to students, dedication to their schools and their commitment to district values as part of the A+ Award recognition at Monday’s school board meeting.
Genoa Middle School partnered with Feridean Commons Senior Housing to foster meaningful connections between students and residents. Art students from Juls Rathje’s and Meegan Moore’s classes created personalized artwork reflecting the residents’ interests, while engineering students crafted custom keychains for them.
Westerville North High School senior Thomas Dalton and Genoa Middle School eighth-grader Jordan Smith will be performing piano music during the Hanby House Holiday Open House on Dec. 7.
